Otafest Style Sketches

Building and refining a sumi-brush portrait style for Otafest, here are the sketches so far!

Mood Boards

animation films do mood boards/color boards as a way to express the mood and feeling of a certain scene, you can find them for alot of pixar's stuff and they're just incredible. What I like about these is that it allows me a safe ground to experiment and play with color (since color is such a weak part of me) and it remains abstract.
